Stones pelted on Delhi-Dehradun Vande Bharat Express
The incidents of stone pelting on Vande Bharat Express train are not taking the name of decreasing. Now there is news of stone pelting on E1 coach of Vande Bharat Express near Muzaffarnagar station on Delhi-Dehradun route. However, no one has been reported injured in this incident. Railway said that RPF has been sent by Delhi Division to nab the accused. This is the 7th such incident on Vande Bharat train since January this year.
This completely made in India train was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 25 last month. This train connects New Delhi to Dehradun.
Earlier, in May, a similar incident was reported from Kerala where Kerala’s first Vande Bharat Express was pelted with stones.
This is the 7th incidence this year
From the month of January 2023 till now, stones have been pelted on the Vande Bharat Express train 7 times. In the month of April, the window glass of Visakhapatnam Secunderabad Vande Bharat coach number C-8 was broken. Earlier in January too, stones were pelted at the Vande Bharat train during maintenance in Visakhapatnam city of Andhra Pradesh. Delhi-Dehradun Vande Bharat was inaugurated by PM Modi last month through virtual medium.
