Uttarakhand Cabinet passes salary hike of UPNL employees

In the Cabinet meeting of the Trivendra Rawat Government, it has been decided to increase the salary of the employees in UPNL. In addition, many other decisions in the cabinet also got stamped.

Today spokesman Madan Kaushik told that the cabinet has given a recommendation for the session of the Vidhan Sabha’s budget session. Every class employee will get extra benefit of Rs 1500. He said, the decision to increase the daily wages of PRD staff to 50 rupees per day in the cabinet was taken. Also, the seventh pay scale has been approved for Uttarakhand Multipurpose Development Corporation.

It is agreed to give 2900 sq m of Uttar Pradesh to the Alaknanda Hotel Complex located in Haridwar. In the cabinet, it was decided to completely demolish the 3 old houses of pilgrims at Kedarnath. At the same time, there was also approval of the Pirul policy in the state. There is a plan to create electricity from Pirul.
This will produce power up to 150 MW per annum. Decision was taken on 30% increase in basic salary on the recommendations of the National Judicial Pay Commission The cabinet has terminated the Co-operative Interaction Scheme.
