Crops destroyed after cloud burst in Pithoragarh

With the sudden change of weather, heavy rainfall occurred in several districts of Uttarakhand. Cloud burst in Betalghat area of ​​Pithoragarh district has caused huge devastation. Debris has been entered in many homes and shops. The fields got buried with rubble. There is no information of deaths in the incident.

The weather in Uttarakhand is changing repeatedly. After a long dry spell the rains have disrupted the lives of people. Most districts of Kumaon are experiencing torrential rains. Heavy rains have wreaked havoc on the Indo-Nepal border in the Kali and Gori river valley areas. People are in panic due to heavy rains in the Tallabagad area of ​​Bulwakot and Dedihat tehsils in Haldi area. Simultaneously, the rivulets are also overflowing the banks. Landslides have occurred in many places. There are about a dozen shops and houses in the debris and water. Many crops have been destroyed due to the incessant rainfall.  At the same time, the Jauljibi Tallabagad road has closed due to the debris near Lakhanpur. Along with this, three more routes of the area are also closed. However, the team of PWD has reached the spot to open the routes. The administration has not yet confirmed the cloudburst.
