Cops arrest 3 robbers trying to loot bank in Pithoragarh

An attempt was made to rob Uttarakhand Gramin bank located in Peepli, which is located on the Nepal border of Didiha, dist. Pithoragarh. When the bank employees protested the bank premises was ransacked and the employees were beaten. After which the incident was reported to the police. At the moment, the police have arrested all three from Jogyuda.

Vipin Tripathi, Manager of Rural Bank Peepli, gave the written complaint to the Askot Police. In which Soban Singh resident Doda, Harish Singh Kanthai resident Sunkholi and Mahendra Singh resident Sunkholi entered the bank with the objective of robbery. When the bank employees protested against them, they threatened to kill them while fighting with the bank employees. Along with this, the accused also broke the computer and monitors and fled from there.

After getting the information of the case, The police team headed by Asif Khan left for Peepali. Police suspected the youth sitting in an Alto car from Jogyuda to Peepli, about eight km from Askot while going to Peepli. The police have filed FIR’s under various sections of the IPC.
