Garhwal University to conduct MCQ based exams of final year/sem students

The examination of UG-PG final semester of Garhwal University HNBGU will be OMR sheet based on multiple choice questions. For UG there shall be 35 multiple choice questions of (each 2 marks) total 70; and for PG 30 multiple choice questions (each 2 marks) of 60 marks.

Duration of the test shall be of one hour

The university on Friday issued detailed guidelines regarding the examination based on the decision taken in the meeting of the Academic Council. According to the revised academic calendar due to the Corona crisis, the examinations for the even semester of the university will be held in July with social distancing.

The final semester examination of UG will be of 70 marks and PG’s total will be of 60 marks. At the same time, the grading of the intermediate semester of UG-PG will be based on the internal assessment and 50-50 percent marks of the previous semester according to the UGC Guidelines.

While the intermediate and terminal semester practical examination will be on the basis of assignment and presentation along with practical, oral examination, field work, dissertation, internship etc.

University’s Controller of Examinations directed the concerned colleges and institutes to set up an examination committee for internal examinations.
