Dehradun-Delhi Mussoorie express to resume from October 20

The Mussoorie Express running between Dehradun-Delhi will be operational from October 20. The Railway Board has given its approval.The Mussoorie Express was canceled for operation like other passenger trains due to the nationwide lockdown to prevent the spread of Corona infection.

At present, the operations of Delhi Dehradun-Janshatabdi, Dehradun-Kathgodam Janshatabdi and Dehradun-New Delhi Shatabdi Express have started. In this sequence, operation of Mussoorie Express has also been allowed. Dehradun railway station received a wireless message in this regard from Moradabad Railway Division on Friday night.

Sitaram Shankar, Superintendent (Operations), Dehradun Railway Station, said that on 20 October, the Mussoorie Express will arrive in Dehraduni and will depart for New Delhi at 9:30 pm on the same day. Presently, in view of the festive season, the train has been allowed to operate till 30 November.
