Boating activities resume in Tehri lake in Unlock 4

Due to the lockdown, the Tehri lake of Uttarakhand, which has been deserted for the last 187 days, has started buzzing again. Tourists have started taking steps to travel to the lake for adventure. More than 65 tourists enjoyed boating in the lake on the first day of boating started on Tuesday.

The journey of adventure has once again started in Tehri Lake. Tourists’ faces blossomed after the closed boating began at Tehri Lake after the lockdown in March. On the first day, some youth from Haridwar and Dehradun enjoyed boating in the lake. Boat operators also made tourists enter the boat only after thermal screening.

There are many tourist places in the beautiful valley of Uttarakhand, where every year a large number of tourists come in search of peace and adventure. The clean environment here compels them to come here again and again. Uttarakhand also has many wonderful places for adventure enthusiasts. One of these is the Tehri Lake. Due to corona infection, the deserted Tehri lake from March resumed boating activities from today.

The district administration had issued permission for boating in the lake on Unlock-4 on Monday itself. Also issued guidelines regarding the prevention from Corona. Youth arrived here from Dehradun and Haridwar on the first day. They were allowed boating only after thermal screening.

Boat union patron Kuldeep Panwar said that fewer tourists came on the first day, but they hope that now gradually the number will start to increase. Boat operators have also got a big relief from the start of boating.
