Bus with 30 passengers onboard meets with accident in Mussoorie
A bus reported to be full of children studying in a private school met with an accident in Mussoorie. A car also got hit by the bus. Three teachers, including 30 students, the driver and conductor of the bus were on board the bus. Two teachers and 5 students were injured in the accident. Luckily no one got hurt too much. The accident could have been very serious but fortunately 5 students and 2 teachers got very minor injuries in the accident. At the same time, local people and police rescued all the people and took the injured to the sub-district hospital through 108 ambulances.
People present on the spot told that after the fall of the bus, all the people immediately reached there to help the children and teachers present inside the bus. The people trapped in the bus were rescued by breaking the windows of the bus. As soon as the information of the incident was received, SDM Mussoorie Naresh Chandra Durgapal reached the spot and inquired about the well being of all the students and teachers. The SDM said that the incident could have been very disastrous, but fortunately, the bus came to a halt after hitting a parfait. 7 people have been injured in the whole incident out of which 5 are students and 2 are teachers and they are being treated at the district hospital in Mussoorie.
