All government and private schools to remain closed in Haridwar from July 20 to 26

v in view of the Kanwar Mela. Meanwhile, private schools have started online education.

All schools and Anganwadi centers will be closed from July 20 to 26, as per the orders of District Magistrate Vinay Shankar Pandey, in view of the Kanwar Mela being in full swing, maintaining health and well being of the students.

In such a situation, online teaching work has been started in private schools from Monday, but no preparation has been started in government schools yet. The administration expects around 5 crore devotees during the Kanwar Yatra.
