Uttarakhand corona update: 239 cases reported on 9 August
On Tuesday, 239 new cases of corona infection were found in the state, while 264 patients have recovered. Two corona infected patients have also died in AIIMS Rishikesh.
The corona infection rate stood at 13.61 percent. At the same time, the number of active cases of corona in the state has reached 1639. Dehradun has the maximum 768, Nainital 294 and Haridwar 170 active cases.
According to the information received from the Health Department, the test report of 1756 samples has been received from private and government labs in the last 24 hours. Out of these, the report of 1517 samples has come negative. Maximum 115 people have been found corona infected in Dehradun.
Apart from this, 40 in Nainital, 25 in Haridwar, 23 in Uttarkashi, 12 in Udham Singh Nagar, 11 in Pauri, 5 in Almora, 4 in Pithoragarh, 2 in Chamoli, 1 person each in Rudraprayag and Tehri have been found corona infected. No new case of corona has been found in the other two districts, Bageshwar and Champawat.
Here, 1401 samples from different districts have been sent for corona examination. This year there have been 1,00,257 cases of corona in the state. Of these, 94,749 (94.51 percent) people have defeated Corona. This year 303 patients have also died from Corona.
