IRCTC portal to open for ticket booking for journey from July 8 to 31
The IRCTC portal will open from July 3 for booking tickets for the Kedarnath heli service, in which tickets will be booked for the journey from July 8 to 31. Due to the monsoon season, many companies have stopped operations.
Currently the services of Aryan and Himalayan Aviation offer helicopter services to Kedarnath. This time the operation of heli service for Kedarnath Dham was started from Guptkashi, Sirsi, Phata helipads from 25th April. Till June 30, 61,967 pilgrims reached Kedarnath by helicopter. Heli companies have done about 10,956 shuttles.
Phased slots were opened for booking of heli service by the Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority (UCADA). Booking of tickets for heli service is full till July 7. IRCTC has given information about opening the booking portal from July 3, in which booking will be done for the journey from July 8 to 31.
