Dates announced for closure of Tungnath, Madhyamaheshwar
The date of closure of the doors for winters of all four Dhams including Badrinath-Kedarnath, Gangotri has been announced. After this, the date of closing of the doors of Second Kedar Lord Madmaheshwar and Third Kedar Lord Tungnath was fixed in the winter Gaddi places on Vijayadashami festival. The doors of the temple of Second Kedar Madhyamaheshwar will be closed on 22nd November and the doors of Third Kedar Tunganath will be closed on 1st November.
The date for closing the doors of Madhyamaheshwar in Omkareshwar temple in Ukhimath and Tungnath Dham in Markandeya temple in Makkumath was fixed. On 25th November, passing through various Yatra stops, the procession will be seated at Omkareshwar Temple, the winter seat. A grand three-day Madhyamaheshwar fair will be organized here from 24th to 26th. The doors of Tungnath will be closed on 1st November at 11 am.
