Schools to be closed in Hardiwar from July 10 to 17; online classes may continue

Devotees from far and wide are reaching Haridwar for Kanwar Yatra 2023. The city is completely packed with devotees and tourists and in view of this District Magistrate Dhiraj Singh Garbyal has taken a big decision. The administration has decided to declare holiday in all the schools and Anganwadi centers in the district from 10 to 17 July. However, CBSE affiliated schools were compartment exams are being conducted will be held as per schedule.

In the orders issued by the District Magistrate on Friday, it has been said that there is going to be a huge increase in the crowd in the coming days at the Kanwar fair. For which routes will be diverted to operate the traffic and the traffic system will be disrupted, due to which school buses and children will have to face difficulties in going hence the administration has taken this decision.
