Chardham Yatra 2025 to conclude with closure of doors of Badrinath on November 25

As part of the Pancha Pujas (five pujas) at the Badrinath Temple, a Kadhai Bhoga (bhog) was held at the Mata Lakshmi Temple on Monday. Amarnath Namboodri, the chief priest of Badrinath, invited Goddess Lakshmi to reside in the sanctum sanctorum of Badrinath. The doors of the Badrinath Temple will now be closed for devotees at 2:56 pm on Tuesday, November 25 marking an end to the Chardham Yatra 2025. The temple has been decorated with approximately ten quintals of flowers.
The Pancha Pujas began at Badrinath Dham on November 21st. Following the closure of the Ganesh Temple, Adi Kedareshwar, and Adi Guru Shankaracharya Gaddi Sthal, the recitation of Vedic hymns in the temple also ceased. Special pujas were held at the Mata Lakshmi Temple on Monday.
The Rawal (chief priest) visited the Mata Lakshmi Temple and invited her to reside in the sanctum sanctorum of Badrinath.
The doors of the Badrinath temple will be closed for the winter season on November 25th at 2:56 pm. The Badrinath temple has been decorated with approximately ten quintals of flowers for the closing ceremony. More than 5,000 devotees are expected to visit the temple.
