Dehradun-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express train gets new stoppage
Indian Railways has made a big announcement regarding the Vande Bharat Express train running between Lucknow and Dehradun. The 44th Vande Bharat Express train was run by the Railways on the Dehradun-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express route and now Najibabad has been added as a new stoppage on a trial basis. The train will stop at the new stoppage from December 10 onwards. With the arrival of this new stop, passengers traveling between Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand will now get the facility to stop at one more station.
The Dehradun-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 12 March 2024. And it has proved to be a game changer in terms of connectivity between the two states. Along with covering the distance between Lucknow and Dehradun in less time, the local economy has also got a boost.
This Vande Bharat Express train connects the capital cities of Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh and completes a total journey of 545 km in 8 hours 20 minutes.
Lucknow-Dehradun Vande Bharat Express: Najibabad becomes new station
Indian Railways has now added a new stoppage for Vande Bharat on this route, Najibabad Railway Station. Earlier, Lucknow-Dehradun-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express used to stop only at three stops – Bareilly, Moradabad and Haridwar Junction. But now passengers traveling in this train will also have the option of boarding and deboarding at Najibabad.
