Last date for application under the Nanda Gaura scheme extended till December 20

Applications for the Nanda Gaura Scheme can now be submitted until December 20th. Following the instructions of Women Empowerment and Child Development Minister Rekha Arya, the department has extended the deadline from November 30th to December 20th.

The department has received over 30,000 applications to date to benefit from the scheme based on the birth of a girl child and to receive assistance under this scheme after passing the 12th grade. The departmental minister stated that during public meetings in many parts of the state, people reported that despite being eligible, they had not yet been able to apply for the scheme due to various reasons.

To provide an opportunity for such individuals, the decision has been made to extend the application deadline until December 20th, 2025. The minister stated that applications received will be given the opportunity to make corrections from December 21st to 31st, but this date will not be extended after that. All applicants must apply within the deadline.
