OPD to restart at Doon Hospital from November 2
There is good news for general patients visiting Doon Hospital. After eight months, OPD of five departments including Post Covid OPD will start from Monday, November 2. OPD will be started in full precautionary and new ways. On Friday, Principal Dr. Ashutosh Sayana has prepared a complete blueprint for it by meeting with all HODs.
The Principal said that in Post Covid OPD, the doctors of Neuro, ENT Medicine, Pediatric Bone, PMR will see patients. Patients who have recovered from here will be called here every day 20 in number. At the same time, OPD of Skin, Cardiology, Cancer, Mental Disease Department is being started. Only 20 patients will be called to the hospital in each department.
This OPD will run in the new building. Before coming to the hospital, an appointment will have to be made at the hospital’s number, online payment of Rs 17 will be taken as a prescription. The mobile number will be released on Saturday. The OPD of cardiology will run on Saturdays and Thursdays. Pharmacy for drugs, blood test has been directed to open collection center. Thermal screening and admission without mask will not be given at the hospital gate.
