Governor inaugurates three-day long Vasantotsav 2023
From today Friday till the next three days, a colorful flower show is underway in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. You can also come here and enjoy these views that refresh your mind.
Vasantotsav 2023 timings
The three-day event Vasantotsav 2023 was inaugurated by Governor Lt Gen Gurmeet Singh (Retd) at 11 am on Friday. The flower exhibition will be open to the general public from 1 pm to 6 pm on Friday and from 9 am to 6 pm on March 4 and 5.
There are a total of 62 sub-categories in the category of 16 main competitions in the event, in which first, second and third prizes will be given. About 30 departments of the state are participating in this event.
The Governor flagged off the campaign vehicle of Vasantotsav
The special campaign vehicle of the three-day Vasantotsav starting from Friday at Raj Bhavan was flagged off by Governor Lt Gen Gurmeet Singh (Retd) from Raj Bhavan on Thursday. This vehicle decorated with flowers will promote the event in the entire Dehradun city.
The Governor has appealed for maximum public participation in the Vasantotsav 2023. Horticulture Director Dr. HS Baweja, Joint Director Dr. Ratan Kumar, Horticulture Officer Deepak Purohit and other officers and employees were present on this occasion.
