Bike riders shoot a person in broad daylight

Dehradun: Bike borne assailants attacked a person and robbed him of Rs. 3.5 lakh. According to prima facie reports Ritendra Tomar r/o THDC Colony Dehradun was traveling towards ISBT after withdrawing 4 lakh cash from Bank of India branch near Dehradun-Haridwar bypass road. He had kept the money in a plastic bag and was traveling on his bike when 2 assailants hit his bike from behind, due to which he lost balance and fell on the road.

The assailants then tried to snatch the bag of cash from him but Ritendra refused to let it go, the robbers then shot him in the leg and ran away with 3.5 lakh rupees. The police reached on the spot and has started an investigation into the matter. Meanwhile Ritendra was taken to the hospital and was later discharged after treatment.
