AAP to launch “Parivar Jodo” mobile app in Uttarakhand to connect with the masses

With the claim that the party has connected with 30 lakh families in Punjab through its mobile application Parivar Jodo”, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is all set to launch the concept in Uttarakhand from April 10. The AAP members would download the application on their mobile handsets and thereafter connect families who had faith in the plans and policies of the party.

With a high level of literacy rate and tech-savvy people across Uttarakhand, the AAP leaders opine that the application would help them connect with lakhs of families.

Meanwhile, the party has also announced a take out Uttarakhand bachao-yatra in all 70 constituencies of Uttarakhand from April 10. The yatra after traversing through all the assembly segments would culminate into a rally in Uttarakhand, which is likely to be attended by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

Giving the information, AAP’s state in-charge Vivek Yadav said, “We have successfully launched the application in Punjab and have come up with overwhelming response from the people. Till date we have connected with over 30 lakh families in Punjab.” Through the mobile application, the AAP members would collect the details of people and their families having faith in the party. After compiling the details the data would be moved to party’s central office at Delhi.

He claimed that the application would be launched on April 10, the day on which the party intends to start the Uttarakhand Bachao yatra.

On April 3, a meeting of senior AAP leader Ashutosh was scheduled at Nanakmatta in Udham Singh Nagar district. The AAP members claimed that the permission for the event was cancelled barely few hours before the event. A protest was staged over the issue on Sunday and it led to the arrest of 39 AAP leaders. The party had called a protest outside Dehradun jail on Monday morning but it was called off after police top brass assured to release the arrested party members.

“It is nothing but murder of democracy, both BJP and Congress have the permission to hold protest whenever and wherever they want but if any other party wants to do so, the permission is denied,” Yadav said. To raise its voice over the issue, the party has decided to take out a Uttarakhand Bachao Yatra from April 10.

The yatra would begin in Kumaon region from Tanakpur and in Garhwal region from Haridwar. “After covering all 70 assembly areas, the yatra would end into a rally at Dehradun likely to be attended by Arvind Kejriwal,” he added.

On the issue of 2017 asssembly elections in Uttarakhand, Yadav said the party was making its preparations. “We do not want to make beforehand commitments or announcement but let the time come we will make the picture clear,” said Yadav.
