Mother’s Day celebrated at The Doon Little World

Tiny tots of The Doon Little World celebrated mother’s day today with full fervor. Also present on the occasion was Mr. D.K Mishra director of Aviral Classes, Dehradun who was the chief guest for the occasion. Students of LKG, UKG and Nursery class presented poems and songs dedicated to their mothers. This followed by a prize distribution ceremony where the Chief Guest handed out certificates to the best performers.

Speaking on the occasion, Mrs Rashmi Dubey,  Director of The Doon Little World advised the students to thank the mothers on this day for all the sacrifices that they have done to make our lives comfortable and lovable. “A Mother is she who can take the place of all others , but whose place no one else can take”, she said.

She talked about the importance of Mothers’ Day as it is a celebration of honouring mothers and motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society. “Mothers are our guiding force and are responsible for making us who we are,” she said, adding that no language can express the power and beauty of a mother’s love, which is infinite, limitless and vast.

The Director then presented a vote of thanks and appreciated the efforts of the faculty members to make preparations to celebrate the wonderful event.
