Dead body of Delhi woman found dumped in a bag in Mussoorie

A sensational murder case has rocked Mussorie. After the murder in Delhi, the body of the wife was thrown in a bag and was thrown at Mussoorie 280 km away from the place of crime. Returning to Delhi, the husband lodged and FIR about his wife being missing. After the matter of murder was investigated, Delhi Police reached Mussoorie with five members including in-laws and husband and found the body of the woman.

On Friday, the Delhi Police reached Mussoorie and started the search operation in the jungles of Hathipaon area, taking the local police together. Mussoorie Deputy Inspector of Mussoorie said that Lalit Jain, a tenant of 10 Harsh Vihar resident of Pitampura, New Delhi, lodged a missing complaint of wife Silky Jain (35) in Ranibagh police station on December 8. After the matter came to light in the investigation, Delhi Police reached Mussoorie on Friday morning with the husband, Lalit Jain, brother of Lalit, brother’s brother-in-law, sister-in-law and father. Here, with the local police started the search campaign in the elephant foot area.

The police got a dead body in the sack in the ditch adjacent to the court, Mackenzie Road. The body was identified as Silky Jain. According to the police, the murder of Silky Jain was done at the Delhi-based house on the night of 3 December. After this, the body was brought in a  sack by Lalit Jain, Lalit’s brother Kamal Jain and Kamal’s brother-in-law Nayan on 6 December morning at 6 o’clock in the morning who returned to Delhi after laying the sack in the ditch. According to the police, the murder of Silky was done by choking her throat. There are injuries on her head too. Delhi Police has taken the dead body for investigation.
