B.Tech students die in horrific car accident

The high speed of the car ended the life of two graphic era students. After the investigation in the accident on Ganeshpur Petrol Pump, the police claimed that the accident occurred due to high speed of the car, in which theĀ  driver lost control over the vehicle.

The incident took place late Friday night when the boy and girl student were returning from Fest, held at the college. After the post-mortem, the police handed the bodiesto their families on Saturday. On the Shimla bypass near Ganeshpur Petrol Pump on Friday night, there was a head on collision between the car and a truck.

The students were identified as Mohit Rawat, resident of Karbari Grant who was driving the car and Shweta Butola resident of Chamoli died in the accident. The police had cut off a part of the car late on night and took out the body of the student after many hardships. Both were doing BTech in Graphic Era.

Both were in the car and were returning from the festival organized in graphic Era. After the accident, the truck driver escaped from site. Due to the accident being on the middle of the road, there was a jam on the bypass.

SP City Shweta Chaubey told that accident has happened due to the high speed of the car. Due to the speed at the speed of the car, the driver’s balance became disturbed and the car collided with the truck. The accident was so horrific that the car was left and entangled mess of metal.
