Jollygrant airport set to resume flight operations from May 25

Preparations have been completed at Dehradun Jolly Grant airport to resume domestic flights from May 25. In this sequence, the schedule for the movement of aircraft has been released today.

All the arrangements are being kept strong to ensure that the rules are followed. Airport director DK Gautam said that a schedule has been prepared for the movement of the planes. So that flights can be started in a systematic way.

The work has been started by the Airport Authority to speed up the arrangements. The Jolly Grant Airport of the capital Dehradun is connected by air to many important cities of the country. The number of air travelers remains high during the tourist season. Air services were on break since March due to the lockdown.

 

Ever since the central government announced the commencement of domestic flights from May 25, the airport authority has been working on strengthening all arrangements on time.

Instructions to issue passes under ‘Vande Bharat Mission’

On Friday, Dehradun District Magistrate Dr. Ashish Kumar Srivastava has given instructions to issue passes for people going abroad or returning to India from abroad under ‘Vande Bharat Mission’. He has entrusted the responsibility of issuing the pass to City Magistrate Anuradha Pal. At the same time, the District Magistrate said that it would be necessary to bring the fitness certificate issued by the doctor to the migrants coming from abroad.

This is how you can apply

For pass application, a form will open on clicking the essential services lockdown pass link on the website of dehradun.nic.in. After this, referring to the emergency service, the name, address, phone number, email, etc. will have to be given. Also photo ID will have to be uploaded. The pass will then be issued.
