Dussehra 2020: Government issues guidelines for burning Ravan effigy

This time too, there will be no shortage of enthusiasm in celebrating Dussehra festival, just the necessary precautions will have to be taken to prevent corona infection. Therefore, the effigies of Ravana, Kumbhakarna, Meghnath will be limited to 10 feet in height and more than 50 people will not be able to unite in place of effigy burning. This time, fairs held on Dussehra festival are also banned. For the Dussehra festival to be celebrated on October 25, District Magistrate Dr. Ashish Shrivastava has issued a guideline, which will have to be compulsorily followed.

According to the order of the District Magistrate, on the occasion of effigy burning, only people related to the organizer will be present. The District Magistrate said that orders have been issued as per the guidelines of the Central and State Government. The administration endeavors to celebrate the festival of the triumph of good over evil with zeal and obey the rules of the prevention of corona infection. Following the rules is also like the victory of good over evil.

Additional District Magistrate (Administration) has been made the nodal officer to ensure that all people follow the rules on Dussehra festival. Also, area-wise magistrates have also been posted. All magistrates shall ensure compliance with the rules in their respective areas.

Police gave instructions to all organizations

Superintendent of Police (city) Shweta Choubey said that in the order of the District Magistrate, directions have been issued to organizers. They have been told not to keep the effigy size higher than 10 feet and that a maximum of 50 people will gather at one place.
