Dehradun DM issues guidelines for New Year celebrations in Hotels, restaurants

Doon and Mussoorie are ready for the New Year celebrations. Bookings at hotels are almost full. At the same time, all preparations are complete at tourist places. The administration and police have also set up their systems. In Dehradun, preparations have been made to welcome tourists at Zoo, Sahastradhara, Maldevata, Mussoorie Road, etc.

The DM issued the order on Tuesday. Which said that in the order issued on December 22, on the occasion of Christmas and New Year, hotels, restaurants were banned from organizing public gathering events. In which partial modification has been done. Under which tourists who have already booked in the hotel for the new year. They will be able to organize simple programs. DM said that the police and administration teams would visit the hotels continuously. Action will be taken under the Disaster Act if the rules are violated.

Care must be taken that the crowd does not gather. Along with this, collective dance is also banned. There will also be a ban on playing DJs to discourage mass dancing. The administration has made it clear that if the rules related to prevention of corona infection are found to be neglected, then the concerned establishment operators will be personally responsible.
