Weekend curfew to be observed in Dehradun

In view of the increasing cases of corona infection, the state government has announced a night curfew in the entire state. There will be a weekly curfew on Saturday and Sunday in the Municipal Corporation area of ​​Dehradun.

Whereas in all other districts, there will be a weekly curfew on Sunday. At present, this arrangement has been done till April 30. On Saturday, maximum 37 corona patients died in the state on Saturday, while 2757 new patients have been found.

In view of the increasing corona infection in the state, orders were issued on Saturday on behalf of the Chief Secretary Omprakash regarding the new guidelines. According to the order, from Saturday 9 pm to 5 am there will be an 8-hour night curfew.

Till now its time was from 10:30 PM to 5 AM. At the same time, shops of essential commodities will be open on the weekly curfew day. The traffic will be conditional and subject to permission. While in the Municipal Corporation area, there is an exemption to keep the offices and institutions related to essential services open in Saturday’s weekly shutdown.

The second wave of corona is very deadly

In the meeting held in the district office auditorium, DM Dixit said that the second wave of corona is very deadly. Corona cases are increasing rapidly in many states of the country. To avoid such situation in the district, it is necessary to follow the rules of Covid-19.

He asked all the agencies, business circles etc. to take special precautions while performing social responsibility and also to make others wear masks and ensure compliance of social distance. He directed to immediately inform the control room and health department about taking medicines for fever etc. from the medical store.

Maximum 200 people allowed in weddings

In the order issued on 15 April, the maximum limit for the gathering of people for other events, including wedding ceremonies, was set at 200. There has been no change in the order issued on Saturday.

What will remain completely closed

– Coaching institutes, swimming pools and spas etc. will be closed in the state till April 30.

Operating with 50 percent capacity

Cinema halls, restaurants, bars and gyms etc. will be operated with 50 percent capacity till April 30 in the state.

They will be exempted from the night curfew

– Employee working in multiple shifts.
– Emergency operations on national and state routes.
– Cargo vehicles, unloaders and passengers.
– For those going home from buses, trains and airplanes.
– Visitors from other events, including wedding ceremonies.
– Employees working in night shifts.
