State of the Art sports ground to come up in Doiwala
The promising players of Uttarakhand are doing well at the national and international level. They arebringing laurels to the state by winning medals for the country and the state. Now the state government has also done a great job in favor of sports talents. Here a sports ground is being built on 27 bighas of land in Laltappad area of Doiwala assembly of capital Dehradun at a cost of one crore. The playing field is being leveled by the executive body. The special thing about the project is that different grounds will be made for all types of sports in it. All kinds of sports will find a place in the ground. The former head of the area, Rajkumar told that this project belongs to former Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat. While holding the post of CM, he had promised to make a great sports ground for the youth of the area.
Former CM Trivendra Singh Rawat had talked about finding a place for a playground. After a lot of research, a sports ground is now being built in Laltappad of Majri gram panchayat in 27 bighas of land. Giving information about the project, Karan Singh, associated with the executive body, the Drinking Water Department, said that the construction of the sports ground would cost one crore. There is a separate venue for all the games. The ground will be ready within 6 months. In which youth will be able to practice cricket, volleyball, football and other sports.
There is a wave of happiness among the youth of the area due to the construction of the sports ground. Youth interested in sports say that till now there was no such place in the area. Where the preparation for sports can be done, but now with the availability of a bigger field, it will be easier for them to prepare.
