Champawat: Student found corona positive in rapid antigen test, dies
The situation regarding Corona in Uttarakhand is getting serious. A 16 year old girl student who tested positive for Corona died on Friday. After the death of the student, the administration and health department have also come on alert mode. She had tested positive in the rapid antigen test. The student was admitted to the ICU after her health deteriorated.
The girl student died after the oxygen lavel was reduced. Champawat CMO Dr. KK Aggarwal said that the student, a resident of Chura khark, Champawat, was admitted to the district hospital on Thursday. He told that she was having difficulty in breathing along with fever, cold. The student was found corona positive in the antigen test. Her health worsened late Thursday night.
After which she was admitted to ICU. On Friday, preparations were on to refer her to the Higher Center due to low oxygen level and other problems. During this she died. The CMO said that the student’s genome sequence and RTPCR samples are being sent for testing. It is being told that the girl student studying in class 12 in Navodaya had returned home from Pantnagar tour on March 28 with her friends.
