State’s third science center to be built in Champawat

There is good news for the people of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s assembly constituency. Soon the third science center of the state will be constructed in the district headquarters Champawat. After the capital Dehradun and Almora district, now the efforts for construction of science center have intensified in Champawat district also.

After the announcement of the Chief Minister Dhami regarding the construction of Science Center, 98 Nali land on Gaudi Marg has been transferred to Science and Technology Department by the Revenue Department for the construction of Science Center in Champawat.

Rs 35 lakh has been allocated in the State Plan for the preparation of the Detailed Action Plan Report (DPR) for the construction of the Science Center by the Public Works Department. With the construction of Science Center in the district, students of Champawat as well as Udham Singh Nagar and Pithoragarh districts and the youth preparing for various types of competitive examinations will be benefited.
