MDDA’s master plan ready for the year 2041 in Dehradun, objections can be filed till April 30

Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority has prepared a master plan for Dehradun till the year 2041. This master plan is based on Geographic Information System. In this, objections have also been sought from the people of Dehradun. By April 30, the people of Dehradun can register their objections in this. After disposal of objections, new master plan will be implemented. The land of the city is depicted in this Geographical Information System based master plan. Along with this, buffer zones have also been marked to protect them from the occupation of land mafia.

There is also clear information about government buildings in the digital master plan, while where private buildings have been built, it will also be known from this master plan. MDDA has created several categories in this proposed Digital Master Plan, which includes National Highway, Major City Road, Metro Alignment, Ropeway, Resident Area, Commercial Zone, Office Zone, Health Zone, Tea Garden and Agriculture Zone. .

Estimated population for the year 2041

MDDA has put up this master plan at its office in Dehradun, Dehradun Municipal Corporation and District Magistrate’s office, where the local people of Dehradun can see it and raise their objections regarding any encroachment on the lands or any other complaint within 1 month.

In this master plan, then the residential area of Dehradun has increased by almost 18 percent. In view of an estimated population by the year 2041, which will be from 25 to 30 lakhs, it has been proposed to increase the residential area to 58.43%.

People are coming to the places where this master plan has been installed in Dehradun and are understanding all the things through the master plan. Especially in Dehradun, there are many such lands where the land mafia is encroaching upon. It also includes many parks. On which now people will be able to register their objections. After which this master plan will be implemented by MDDA after disposal of objections.

Permission of MDDA Board is necessary on these constructions in densely populated areas

Harrawala is a best agriculture land if dehradun and water level is very above 10 ft but it is shown high buildings land and not shown agriculture land , the yiels of crops is very high near cancer hospital and agriculture tubewell are alo fitted there but no one thinking about agriculture area and planning to make resdential area which will destroy Dehra dun famous basmati and agriculture in future.
    Request to authourity remainig land should be declared purely agriculture and this will destry beauty of dehradun and effect the Rajaji national park also.

    they’re counting their land with the money people forgetting the truth they need food rather than buildings

  3. This Master Plan must have taken more than 2/3 years to plan and bring out. Therefore please don’t expect residents to file objections in less than a month. Give at least 2/3 months for raising objections.
