If you like to travel by train between Delhi and Dehradun, then there is good news for you. Because now this distance from the train can be completed in a shorter time. Not only this, soon the number of existing trains from Delhi to Dehradun or Saharanpur can also be increased.

In fact, taking advantage of the limited movement of trains in the Corona era, Northern Railway has completed the work of Rail Track Doubling on the 28 km long Deoband-Tapri rail section. Now the Chief Railway Safety Commissioner has tested the speed of 125 kmph on the 28 km long Deoband-Tapri doubled rail section of Northern Railway. During this, the Chief Railway Safety Commissioner authorized the fitness of the track at 110 km per hour.

Since, some finishing works are still going on. Therefore, the speed limit on this rail section for electric locomotives will be 75 kilometers per hour for a few days. According to the Railway Ministry, with the doubling of this rail section, the entire Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut-Saharanpur rail route has been doubled. Due to which the railway section will not only reduce the travel time, but due to being a single line, the problem of not getting the pass for the trains will also be eliminated.
