President to attend State Foundation Day program tomorrow, know route diversion in Dehradun

President Droupadi Murmu will participate in the main program organized at Police Lines on Thursday, on the occasion of Uttarakhand State Foundation Day in Dehradun. Due to this, the traffic police has issued a route diversion plan in the city. Heavy vehicles will not be allowed to enter the city from 5 am to 11 pm.

Route Diversion Plan in Dehradun on November 9

• Heavy vehicles coming from Nepali Farm towards Dehradun will be stopped or diverted at Laltappar. No vehicle will enter towards Dehradun city.
• Heavy vehicles coming from Dehradun towards Rishikesh will be stopped or diverted at Ranipokhari.
• All heavy vehicles from Kargi Chowk will be diverted towards Dudhli Road.
• Heavy vehicles coming from Ponta and Vikasnagar will be diverted from Dhulkot Trijunction and stopped or diverted at Nayagaon outpost.
• To avoid inconvenience, vehicles coming from Rishikesh towards Dehradun city will be able to reach their destination using Ranipokhari Thano route.
• Vehicles coming from Haridwar towards Dehradun will be able to use the Dudhli route towards their destination.
• From 7 am to 12 noon, traffic will be stopped for a short time along with diversion of vehicles operating in areas like New Cantt Road, Rajpur Road, EC Road, Haridwar Road, Race Course etc.
