The International Space Station (ISS), set in close orbit of the Earth in space, will pass through the skies of North India several times from October 19 to 26. It can be seen from Dehradun from 05:38 am to 05:42 am.
It will be brighter than the stars in the sky and will be seen flying faster than airplanes, which can be seen with naked eyes without telescopes and binoculars. On October 21, it will be seen most brightly. It can be seen from Dehradun at 67 degrees south-east angle between 05:38 am to 05:44 am.
The ISS was established in November 1998 to get a closer understanding of space. The space station, set about 420 km above the earth, is orbiting the Earth at a speed of 17500 miles per hour. It makes about 16 rounds in a day. So astronauts living in the station can watch the sunrise and sunset 16 times a day.

Largest satellite made by man
The ISS is the largest satellite ever built by man. It is a joint venture of many space agencies of the world. Canada, the European Space Agency, including the Russian Federal Space Agency of Russia, the Aerospace Exploration Agency of Japan have collaborated with NASA of the United States of America.
