Foreign students given educational tour on science and technology at UCOST

Through the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing in Uttarakhand State Council of Science and Technology, Dehradun, students from different countries like Myanmar, Indonesia, Mexico etc. were given an educational tour to the Regional Science Center, Dehradun under the Center for Space Science and Technology Education in Asia and the Pacific Program. Director General Prof. Durgesh Pant welcomed all the students to the Vigyan Dham campus and informed them about the various activities and activities of the Council. Prof. Pant introduced the science and technology schemes run by the Council in the state to awaken scientific consciousness among the common people and students.

Thereafter all the students visited various galleries and were given hands-on information of science activities. On this occasion, scientists from IRS, Dehradun, Dr. C.M. Bhatt and Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Singh; Dr. D.P.Uniyal, Joint Director from UCOST; Dr. Jagbir Aswal, Mr. Manoj Kanyal, Santosh Rawat and Nalin Sharma etc. were present.
