Vande Bharat Express to run soon between Lucknow-Dehradun
Soon another Vande Bharat Express train is expected to run in Uttarakhand. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Varshney assured to start operation of Vande Bharat between Lucknow to Dehradun and night train service between Kotdwar to Delhi soon.
Rajya Sabha MP and BJP’s national media in-charge Anil Baluni met Union Minister Varshney in New Delhi. Baluni said that ‘Vande Bharat service has been started between Dehradun and Delhi, due to which the people of the state have got a lot of benefits’. He urged to start this service between Dehradun and Lucknow soon.
Baluni told that during the Covid period, the night train service between Kotdwar and Delhi was closed. Four coaches from Kotdwar used to be added to Najibabad on Mussoorie Express but since they have been closed, the people of Garhwal region are facing inconvenience. The Union Minister has promised to start a new rail service from Kotdwar.
