658 new corona cases detected in last 24 hours in Uttarakhand

Corona infection is spreading rapidly in Uttarakhand. On Saturday, 658 new cases have been reported, of which highest 179 are from Dehradun. Apart from this, 161 from Haridwar, 90 from Udham Singh Nagar, 64 from Tehri Garhwal, 54 from Almora, 45 from Nainital, 19 from Uttarkashi, 16 from Bageshwar, 11 from Pithoragarh, 6 each from Champawat and  Pauri Garhwal, five from Chamol and 2 cases have come up in Rudraprayag. At the same time, 400 patients have fully recovered, while 11 have died today. The number of infected in the state has now increased to 18571. Of these 12524 have become healthy. Currently 5735 cases are active, while 250 patients have died. Apart from this, 62 have gone out of the state.

Three patients died of corona infection

Two patients of Corona infected have died in Dr. Sushila Tiwari Kovid Hospital. A 48-year-old patient resident of Kusumkheda has died. He was suffering from diabetes, pneumonia and was admitted on Friday. At the same time, the second patient was a resident of Rudrapur was 55 years old. While a 72-year-old woman admitted to Doon Medical College Hospital also died. The woman, a resident of Haridwar Road, was hospitalized on August 7. The woman was corona infected. The woman died during treatment on Saturday.

Administration tensed as cases increase in Dehradun

The number of Corona patients in Doon is breaking records every day. The speed of cases has increased from the last two to three days, from the government to the health department officials are in action due to this. A record 185 new cases of infection have been detected in the district on Friday as well. Earlier on 26 August, 170 people were found infected in Dehradun.

Chief minister’s corona report negative

Corona report of Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has come negative. Also the report of his family is negative. After testing negative for Corona, the Chief Minister will attend all the programs from Saturday as before. On Monday, the Chief Minister’s Economic Advisor Alok Bhatt was found to be corona infected. After this, on Tuesday, a corona test was conducted for the staff and security personnel working at the Chief Minister’s residence. Among these, the report of the chief security officer of the chief minister and the driver of the office staff was positive. After which the Chief Minister was self-isolated.
